India or Sri Lanka?

With the finals under a day away I thought I would write something about a preview of the game. In my opinion there are two ways that this game will end (obvious), because it depends on 2 players. Muttiah Muralidaran, and Sachin Tendulkar.
Why? Because if either Tendulkar, or Murali have a big game, their team will win. By big game I mean, a century or a 3-wicket haul.
Because of this, I am taking the likely Sachin to score this century in essence guiding India to win the tournament.

With both teams from Asia, it is an extremely interesting finals. There will be a few surprises, a decision to start a batter or two might result in a loss of 20 runs. Choosing the optimal time to take the Batting Powerplay is key. It needs to be taken at the 35th-37th over, when the relatively new ball is in play, that will allow for an increase of 20-40 runs. It should be an interesting game.
If India bats first they score 285-7. Sri Lanka gets 278-9. India wins.
If Sri Lanka bats First they score 225-10 while India responds with 227-4. India wins.
Sri Lanka will have a much higher chance of winning chasing, so they need to defer the choice to bat if they win the toss.

How to Pick a Runescape Combat Type F2P

from wikiHow - The How to Manual That You Can Edit

How do you know whether you should be a warrior, mage, or a ranger. This guide will give you some basic ideas to identify what to become.

Steps

  1. Figure out whether you are a duo, group or solo Pker.
  2. Based on that, you can pick a combat type.
  3. As you start, the best combat type is mage, since at low levels you can hit the hardest with it.
  4. Once you hit level 25, make a choice, whether you want to be a mage, melee or ranger. You could also be a hybrid.
  5. Melee. Train to 40 attack, and 60 strength as well as 25/31 prayer.
    • This is great if you fight in larger teams, or want to train outside of the wilderness. At this level you will find many large teams to fight with.
  6. Range. Train to 67 Ranging and raise your prayer level to help you defend yourself.
    • Range is ideal when fighting in small groups at the low level.
  7. Mage.Becoming a mage becomes unimportant once you get to 42 combat. Until you reach 70 combat, there is no need to use mage, so picking another combat style is recommended.
  8. Becoming a Range/2h pure is ideal for true Pkers especially soloers. Raise 40 Attack, 70 Strength and 70 Range for ideal results, with prayer as an optional stat.
  9. This is a guide for pures, but if you want to gain defense, nothing is stopping you. Defense is great once you pass 90 combat.

Tips

  • Identify the group you are going to be Pking with.
  • Know the combat triangle. Mage beats melee, melee beats range, range beats mage.
  • Specializing is especially great in large groups, because it means less risk of backstabbing
  • People like having guys with defense on their team, because it helps take a few hits for the team, especially in large groups.

Warnings

  • The wilderness is dangerous. Do not risk stuff you are not willing to lose.
  • Get special stuff like gravite items. They are great for Pkers, but are long and hard to get, and easy to lose.

How to Deter Noobs in Runescape

How to Deter Noobs in Runescape

Noob's bugging you? These are a few easy steps to keep them at bay.

Steps

  1. Know what world your on, staying on special skilled world's will limit the amount of low levels bothering you.
  2. If you are a high level, keep your chat off, and try to prevent wearing rare/expensive items especially when in populated areas.
  3. When Pking, do so in groups, or if you are soloing, have a low level account left at the place where you frequent. This will allow you to kill free loading looters, and other noobs.
  4. Try to make yourself appear like one of the normal guys, offer advice to people, in the spirit of the game, but disregard any comments and queries made to "give free stuff".
  5. Training at higher level monsters, or skilling at places frequented by higher levels will help take some of the "noobs" of your back.

Tips

  • The are coming to you for a reason, identify it. It is either your level, or your wealth.

Warnings

  • Don't lavish friends with gifts in public spaces, because that will draw poor people.
  • Also don't lend out items in populated areas, because the vultures will be circling attempting to rob you of your items where possible
